Built for British winters. Ready for real work.

When you spend your days outside - in fields, yards, sheds or on the road - you need a jacket that doesn’t quit. The Duradri Down Jacket is engineered for harsh outdoor conditions, combining a tough nylon oxford outer, true waterproof construction, and 750 fill power down insulation.

This isn’t a fashion puffer.
It’s a high-performance winter jacket designed for farmers and outdoor workers who need reliable warmth and protection through long, cold, wet days.

Key Features

Tough Nylon Oxford Outer

Hard-wearing and abrasion-resistant - built to handle logs, bricks, machinery, brambles, livestock and day-in, day-out farm work.

Waterproof Construction (10,000mm)

A waterproof membrane protects the insulation from rain and wet weather, with critical seams sealed for dependable wet-weather defence.

Welded Baffles (Body Panels)

No outer stitching on the main body panels - enhancing water resistance and preventing cold spots.

750 Fill Power Down (90/10 White Duck)

Premium RDS-certified down delivers exceptional warmth without bulk and maintains loft in cold, damp environments.

Moisture-Wicking, Anti-Odour Lining

A comfortable, functional lining that helps manage sweat during active work.

Durable Components

  • YKK Aquaguard® zips

  • Coats Epic EcoVerde® thread (100% recycled)

Who It’s For

Farmers.
Outdoor workers.
Anyone who needs a jacket that performs in rain, cold, wind and rough environments - not one that fails at the first snag.

The Duradri Down Jacket brings together performance, practicality and resilience - a warm, waterproof, purpose-built winter coat that works as hard as you do.

The Duradri Down Jacket is built to be worked in, so it doesn’t need babying. For everyday muck and grime:

  • Let mud dry fully, then brush it off with your hand or a soft brush.
  • Wipe off fresh spills or light dirt with a damp cloth.
  • Only wash it when it genuinely needs it – over-washing reduces DWR performance and puts unnecessary wear on the down.

When it needs a proper wash

  1. Prep the jacket

    Close all zips and fasteners.

    Shake out loose dirt.

Turn it inside out if you like, to protect the outer from abrasion.

  2. Machine wash

    30°C, gentle cycle.

    Use a down-safe, non-bio liquid detergent.

Do not use fabric softener, bleach, stain removers, or soap flakes.

Wash it on its own or with other technical/down garments – no heavy cottons or towels.

Drying & re-lofting the down

Down needs a bit of patience to dry properly – but if you get this right, it will last for years.

  • Tumble dry on low heat with a couple of clean dryer balls (or clean tennis balls wrapped in a sock).
  • Check and shake the jacket regularly during drying to break up any clumps of down.
  • Make sure the jacket is completely dry all the way through before you put it away – damp down can clump and lose loft.

If you don’t have a tumble dryer:

  • Lay it flat on a dry rack in a warm, airy room.
  • Turn and shake it regularly to help the down spread back out.
  • Air drying will take longer – make sure it’s fully dry before storing.

Looking after the waterproofing (DWR & membrane)

Your jacket’s waterproof performance comes from two things:

  • the DWR coating on the tough nylon Oxford outer, and
  • the waterproof membrane underneath, with critical seams sealed.

Over time, the DWR will slowly wear off, especially with heavy use and repeated washing.

To keep water beading on the surface:

  • When you notice the outer fabric starting to “wet out” (soak rather than bead), wash the jacket, then apply a spray-on DWR reproofer designed for waterproof/breathable fabrics.
  • Follow the instructions on the reproofer bottle – usually applied to a clean, damp jacket, then left to dry or lightly tumble dried on low.

Avoid:

  • Hot washes, fabric softeners, or harsh detergents – they can damage both the DWR and the membrane.
  • Direct heat (radiators, open fires, Aga tops) – this can distort fabrics and trims.

Storage

  • Always store the jacket clean and completely dry.
  • Hang it on a sturdy coat hanger – don’t compress it tightly for long periods, as that can reduce down loft over time.
  • If you don’t use it over summer, give it a quick check and shake before winter to wake the down up again.

Things to avoid (quick list)

❌ Fabric softener
❌ Bleach or aggressive stain removers

❌ Dry cleaning
❌ Hot irons or direct high heat
❌ Stuffing away damp or dirty
